The Only Bulldogs Kennel website is another fairly large site developed by Fun Coast that has a number of unique, custom designed features. The main goal was to highlight each dog through the use of both photos and pedigrees. Pedigrees are genealogical trees of information that transfer nicely to a computer database. To accomplish our goal in a timely fashion we decided to combine an off-the-shelf product with our custom design.
We purchased a copy of Breeder's Assistant software, loaded in the pedigree information for our client and generated three versions of the pedigree information for display on the site. The "web page" version of the pedigree is generated dynamically using a database loaded with the bloodline information of each dog. This allows the website visitor to examine a pedigree by clicking on the various dogs in the bloodline. The result is a nice, clean website that does a great job of "showing" off our customer's product...bulldogs!
