The Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce website is a fairly complex site that includes administrative interfaces for uploading the member database, calendars, coupons, etc.
The website features a fully searchable database that allows visitors to search for members by name or business category. The website database is actually a subset of the office database used to manage the chamber business. This "office database" is an off-the-shelf product used by many chambers of commerce to manage their business activities. In order to make it easy to update the website and to avoid having to enter information multiple times, we developed specialized tools that the chamber staff uses to export member information out of their office database into a format that can be uploaded to the website. Within minutes of adding a new member to their database or changing a current member's information (address, phone, etc.) they can use our tools to export and then upload the changes to the website.
We also developed easy to use tools for uploading calendar and member "coupons". The site also hosts member sponsorships (ads) which are rotated automatically to provide for maximum exposure to visitors.
